SPAOH: A startling discovery was made on the first day of the new school session today at SMK Spaoh when a 15-foot python was found hiding under a teacher’s car.
Betong District Civil Defense Force Officer, Captain Siti Huzaimah Ibrahim, said that her team received a distress call at approximately 12.59 pm, just as students were preparing to leave for the day.
“Our team found the python coiled around the rear underside of a Proton Saga owned by a teacher,” said Siti.
The python was swiftly captured in a six-minute operation, led by Sergeant Noriza Japar. The operation concluded around 1.14 pm, with the python taken to the Spaoh District Operations Control Centre for further action.
