KUCHING: Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah visited the Heritage Technology and Gastronomy Academy, Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (Centex) here on yesterday (July 4).
It is part of the Queen’s four-day work visit to Kuching. Tunku Azizah was welcomed by Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Law, Malaysia Agreement 1963 and State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali upon her arrival at Centex.
During her visit, she was also presented with various ‘Keringkam’ textile works and Sarawak shawls. Tunku Azizah will leave for home on Thursday (July 7).
Also present during the visit was Minister for Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah.
