RAF Yaakob has put to rest any rumours about a third wheel causing his split from actress Mawar Rashid, stressing that their parting was without drama. Talking to an entertainment programme, the businessman, also known as the brother of singer and chef Fazley Yaakob, made it clear that he and Mawar are still on good terms despite calling it quits. “Just to set the record straight, there’s no one else involved in our breakup, neither on my end nor hers.
It’s just how things turned out, and I’m okay with that,” Raf said. He highlighted their shared commitment to putting their kids first, mentioning they have managed to avoid any nasty arguments over parenting issues. “We’re doing our best to keep our kids happy.
Thankfully, they’re not feeling too shaken up about the whole situation,” he shared. On the subject of a possible reunion, Raf said he is leaving it up to fate, focusing instead on providing for his kids and working on himself.
“Right now, I’m all about securing a good future for my children and trying to be a better person,” he added.
Raf and Mawar officially announced their split last November. The couple, who got hitched in 2017, have three kids together, and Raf also has two children from a previous marriage.
