KUCHING: Sarawak is expected to continue experiencing rainfall until tomorrow (Jan 31).
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) said that this forecast is based on weather model analyses, with easterly winds expected to persist until Feb 3.
“This condition may lead to an increase in humidity, potentially bringing continuous rain to Sarawak and Sabah. METMalaysia has issued a continuous rain warning in Sarawak until Jan 31, while in Sabah, it is effective from Jan 1 to 2,” it said in a statement today (Jan 30).
The public is advised to refer to METMalaysia’s website at www.met.gov.my and their official social media channels. Additionally, they can download the myCuaca application for current and accurate information on weather updates.
