KOTA SAMARAHAN: The District Officer of Asajaya, Rais Ahmat, has been appointed as the new Deputy Resident of Samarahan division, effective today (June 5).
He will replace Anuar Da’an, the previous Deputy Resident of Samarahan division, who has officially transferred to Integrated Regional Samarahan Development Agency (IRSDA) as the special administrative officer.
The handover of duties ceremony was witnessed by the Resident of Samarahan division, Mohamad Irwan Bahari Bujang, at the Batang Sadong meeting room, Samarahan Division Resident’s office.
According to Mohamad Irwan, during Anuar Da’an’s service at the Samarahan Division Resident’s office, he had contributed significantly to the progress, development, and advancement of the area.
“I believe that Rais will be able to perform the duties of Deputy Resident of Samarahan Division, given his previous service at the Asajaya District office as the District Officer,” he added..
Meanwhile, in his speech, Rais requested support and good cooperation from both agencies and the community so that development progress in the Samarahan division will continue effortlessly.
