KUCHING: Raja Puan Muda Perak Darul Ridzuan Tunku Soraya Sultan Abdul Halim made a brief visit to India Street here yesterday morning.
Also present to welcome her during the visit was Mayor of Kuching South City Council Datuk Wee Hong Seng.
Wee, who is also the president of India Street Pedestrian Mall, accompanied Tunku Soraya during the tour and briefed her on the history and current situation of the area.
Tunku Soraya, who arrived here on Tuesday (March 7), is on a four-day official working visit.
She will also attend the closing ceremony of the Second National Guild Meeting tomorrow before leaving for home.
