KUCHING: Illegal parking is normal in the city and at times can take up the pedestrian walkway.

Vehicles are parked illegally and due to the narrow lane, drivers have no choice but to carefully manoeuvre their vehicles between the stationary vehicles.
Some pedestrians are also forced to walk on the street when there are vehicles parked on the walkway.
Meanwhile, a staff working in the area said that the occurrence is a norm despite complaints from some of the pedestrians.
