MUKAH: An under aged girl was forced to undergo medical treatment at a hospital here after she could not withstand the pain in her private part.
It is believed that her private part got infested after she had sex with her boyfriend.
Mukah District Police chief, DSP Jimmy Panyau said that a girl aged 15 years and eight months has no choice but to tell a doctor of the pain at her private part during a medical treatment at Mukah Hospital here last Monday.
He added that the hospital management discovered something amiss about the girl before lodging a police report.
“The girl is a school dropout and revealed that she has been having sex with her boyfriend since last year and the last one was last March.
“Initial investigation revealed that the underage girl has had sex in a budget hotel here,” he said when contacted yesterday.
Following the information, the police are now looking for the boyfriend in his 20s to assist in the investigation.
Jimmy added that the girl has been referred to the Sibu Hospital for further treatment last Monday evening.
“This case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape,” he pointed out.
