KUCHING: Senari Synergy brought joy to the children of Permata Synergy by distributing goodies and necessities to them in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Gawai celebrations.

The annual programme aimed to provide financial relief to under-privileged children aged six to 12 years old.

Since its launching on July 29, 2016, Senari Synergy has adopted 12 children of various family backgrounds.

According to a statement, it said the relief provided under its ‘Back to School’ programme consisted of a RM150 monthly allowance per child, school uniforms and stationery.

“We hope during this conditional movement control order (CMCO), the goodies and other necessities can bring them joy and smiles.

“Through this annual event, we hope to instil the values and virtues of caring, kindness, and forgiveness, especially in the spirit of Raya,” said group managing director Jefri Ahmad Tambi.

He thanked all staff who had personally contributed to the event.

“Their generosity in sharing their blessings with the less fortunate also reflects the true caring culture of Senari Synergy,” he said.
