SIBU: Farley Foundation reached out to the underprivileged families here recently in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Chairman of Farley Foundation, Eijing Lau was present to hand over 120 sets of Raya hamper to the recipients including orphans, single mothers and persons with disabilities (OKU).
The handing over of contributions was made during a programme called ‘Program Ihya Ramadan menjelang Ramadan dan Syawal’ organised by the Muslim Welfare Organisation Malaysia (Perkim) Sibu branch at its premises in Jalan Bandong.
According to the statement from Perkim Sibu, the contributions will hopefully reduce the burden of the less fortunate in celebrating Hari Raya Aidifitri.
