KUCHING: The Sarawak State Library (Pustaka) will hosting the Symposium of Records and Archives Management for Sarawak State Goverment Agencies and Workshop on Government’s Records Classification on 3 and 4 September 2018 at the UCSI Hotel here.
Among the activities during the symposium and workshop are Digitization and Microfilming, Hands-on for Processing of Records and Archives, and Workshop on Government’s Documents Classification.
Meanwhile, a session with the Sarawak State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani will be held on 3 September 2018.
This programme is being held for the first time and focuses on the state departments and agencies in Sarawak.
The main objective for the programme is to create awareness on the importance of managing records and archives, and at the same time helping the department in empowering their file classification system.
The target group for this programme are staff from the govenrment and statutory bodies.
