KUCHING: A resident of a rehabilitation centre has been remanded for seven days in connection with sodomy allegations against him.
Padawan district police Chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan said the man was arrested following a report lodged against him by a 26-year-old man, who is also a resident at the rehabilitation centre.
Aidil added that the report was lodged at Kota Sentosa police station at 3.20pm on Thursday.
“The complainant was assaulted on Wednesday at 9pm, which prompted him to lodge the report.
“This is the sixth time that the suspect had committed such act towards the complainant at the hostel,” he said when contacted.
The case is being investigated under Section 377C of the Penal Code.
