PADAWAN: The People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela) plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the local community.
“Rela also plays a vital role in ensuring the implementation of infrastructure development projects, particularly in the Mambong constituency,” said Deputy Minister of Transport (Road and Aviation) Datuk Dr Jerip Susil.
He was speaking during a programme with Rela at Kampung Emperoh Jambu recently.
At the event, Dr Jerip, who is Mambong assemblyman, approved a Minor Rural Project (MRP) allocation of RM5,000 for the Rela platoon at Kampung Emperoh Jambu.
He also extended contributions to two former members of the Rela platoon for their service.
