MUKAH: A religious event called Majlis Ihya Ramadan was held at Kampung Jebungan, here, over the weekend.
Held at Masjid Sheikh Sulaiman of the village which is located on the opposite bank of Mukah Town, the occasion saw the presentation of assistance to the Asnaf (zakat recipients) in the area.
The contributions to the needy Muslims at the function were presented by Penghulu Kudum Dilah.
Among those present were KK Haji Zaman, Mukah Traders and Mukah Bikers Club chairman Haji Mohd Junaidi Haji Ramli, a representative from PERTIGA (Combined Charity Islamic Organisation) Mukah Awangku Mohd Redhafirdaus Awang Ali, Mukah Parliament Special Affairs Department Officer Hafizzul Abdul Halim and local community leaders.
And the Solat Magrib of the occasion which also featured a breaking of fast dinner was recited by Iman Muda Nurul Amizan B Madeli.
