KOTA SAMARAHAN: Members of the public are advised to take note of a 90-day temporary road closure at Rembus Roundabout from Nov 21 to Jan 21 next year.
According to Sarawak Metro, the closure is to facilitate culvert replacement works and the construction of the ART guideway for Package 1 (Blue Line) under the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) Phase 1 project.
“Road users are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and exercise caution when driving in the affected area during the construction period,” Sarawak Metro said in a notice.
The agency also urged motorists to adhere to all traffic management measures, warning signs, and speed limits for their safety during the ongoing construction.
Should there be any changes to the closure dates, the public will be promptly notified.
