SARIKEI: Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Assistant Minister Datuk Len Talif Salleh (pic) reminded the people not to forget the contribution of past leaders.
“The developments and advancement that we have achieved today did not just appear on their own,” he said in his Sarawak Day address.
He called upon all Sarawakians to be grateful for the prosperity that they currently enjoy and to unite so that continuous
developments can be carried out.
“While we enjoy the peace and harmony of today, we should not ignore the roles of our past leaders and the sacrifices that they made.
“Their struggles and sacrifices ensured that we live peacefully and set our own course towards the future.”
Len also reminded that the gift of peace that allows freedom of choice to all Sarawakians is priceless.
