SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii continued with his benevolent deed of helping bedridden patients in his constituency.
This time around he answered the plight of these patients by donating them a bed each, which are the equivalents of those used in hospital wards.
In delivering the beds to families of the patients today, Huang was represented by a team from his Repok State Constituency Service Centre.
The recipients were Wong Leh Tuang, 83, from Sungai Tulai; Alek Manan, 91, from Kampung Tanjong Bundong and Phan Siu Ying, 86, from Jalan Jelutong Barat.
Speaking to reporters, the spokesperson from Repok State Constituency Service Centre, said that the families of the patients were very thankful to the Repok assemblyman, as having these hospital beds would considerably help them take better care of the patients.
The team installed the bed and taught families of the patients how to use it.
Each hospital bed allows its user to alter and adjust the bed to better position his or her head and feet. These changes allow for movement as well as the periodic change to the pressure points of the body, thereby improving the patient’s blood circulation while she or he is in bed.
