SARATOK: Every application for infrastructure projects will be taken into consideration, assured Krian assemblyman Friday Belik.

He said projects will be channelled in stages according to priority and needs.

“For those who have applied but have not yet secured a project, I assure that the projects applied for are placed in the Project Bank data and will be given due attention from time to time based on the available allocations.

“Currently, development projects under the state government are channelled through various programmes such as Rural Transformation Project (RTP), Projek Mesra Rakyat (PMR), Betong Integrated Development Agency (BIDA) projects and so on,” he said during a ‘Leader with the People’ programme at Rumah Dickson Chendang, Saratok on Sunday (Sept 25).

At the event, Friday approved RM4,000 to the longhouse women’s bureau.

Also present were a political secretary to the Premier, Brian Fung, pemancha Thomas Lamit, as well as community leaders and village chiefs (KMKK) in the area.
