KUCHING: Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap showed solidarity with the Kota Sentosa Police Station and Police Fixed Wing Section by joining them during the recent Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration.
The celebration included observing the solemn process of sacrificial worship (Ibadah Korban), highlighting the caring ethos of Muslim police personnel.
“The celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha reflects the spirit of sacrificial worship (Ibadah Korban) which is a lesson for us to care for those who are less fortunate, especially amid ongoing challenges of price hikes for groceries faced by the underprivileged.
“This event promotes social inclusivity and showcase ‘Unity in Diversity’ which encourages giving, sharing and caring for all Sarawakian regardless of race or religion,” Yap said.
