SARIBAS: Deputy Minister of Women, Childhood, and Community Wellbeing Development, Datuk Mohamad Razi Sitam presented a cheque totalling RM98,000 for Minor Rural Project (MRP) to 14 Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs) of the longhouses in his constituency.

He cited the contribution was to assist each JKKK in preparing for the upcoming Gawai Dayak festival.

“On the same note, I will consider several requests from JKKK for upgrading some facilities such as parking and basic infrastructure,” he said.

He stated this during the MRP grant presentation ceremony to longhouse JKKK in the Saribas constituency held at its service centre here on Tuesday.

Additionally, he assured that several developments surrounding Debak sub-district have been intensified to ensure these rural areas were not left behind.
