SELANGAU: Nine village development and security committees (JKKKs) of longhouses under Tamin constituency received their minor rural project (MRP) grant amounting to RM75,000 from its assemblyman Christopher Gira Sambang on Tuesday.
Among the recipients including JKKK Rumah Julau, JKKK Rumah Pom, JKKK Rumah Kumbong Inong, JKKK Nanga Senyaro Rumah Jelimbai, JKKK Rumah Christopher Chat, JKKK Rumah Sawong, JKKK Rumah Rantai Ngelambai, JKKK Pulau Danau and JKKK Sungai Batu.
Gira when met hoped that all recipients make the best use of their allocations.
Also present were the political secretaries to the chief minister, Edwin Banta and Daniel Bujal, Selangau district officer Inting Nyami and local community leader Pemanca Matthew Ganggang.
