MIRI: Senadin assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin joined Malaysia Red Crescent Miri Branch and Miri Welfare Department yesterday (June 9) to hand over relief items to fire victims.
The fire broke out at noon on Wednesday (June 8) at Desa Murni, Lorong 2D where two houses were damaged respectively.
After receiving the information about the fire incident on Wednesday afternoon, Senadin constituency service centre swiftly contacted all relevant units and arranged the visit to the victims and learn about their situation.
In addition, several other unnamed units also provided relief items to the affected families alongside with the relief funds provided by the Miri Welfare Department and the Senadin constituency service centre.
All the relief items and relief funds were handed over to the victims to solve their current troubles and for their urgent needs.
