BINTULU: Tanjong Batu assemblyman, Johnny Pang, recently visited Taman Good Park to monitor the ongoing upgrading works on the drainage and water flow systems in the area.
Accompanied by the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) staff and contractors involved, he conducted a working visit to review the current progress of the drainage upgrade works.
According to him, the works are progressing smoothly and adhere to the specified timeframe and standards.
“This visit aims to ensure that the drainage system functions properly without any blockages that can potentially cause flooding, especially during the rainy season,” he said.
He also emphasised the importance of this project in ensuring the safety and comfort of Taman Good Park residents while providing long-term benefits to prevent flash floods in the residential area.
