SERIAN: Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Deputy Minister Martin Ben made a working visit to several areas in Serian recently.

In a report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), he visited Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Merbau to inspect the facilities of the school allocated through the minor rural project (MRP) grant amounting to RM50,000.

The Kedup assemblyman then visited Kampung Meboi to inspect several rural transformation programme (RTP) projects in the village such as the new building and toilet project for the year 2022 worth RM250,000.

He also paid a visit to Satoyama Free Range Farm, a free range chicken farm and urged Satoyama to hold a course in providing exposure and guidance to the community, especially the youth to venture into poultry farming.
