SIBU: Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing, and Local Government, Datuk Michael Tiang Ming Tee, has prioritised resolving the Pelawan constituency’s irrigation issues.
Tiang, who is also the Pelawan assemblyman, seeks residents’ support for the project implementation.
“I need your support and patience so that we can make this happen. Trust me, Pelawan, year by year will be better. This is my promise. I thank you for giving me your trust and supporting me in my effort to develop this area,” Tiang said during the Natural Disaster Aid distribution to 265 households in Pelawan, affected by a recent storm at Swan Square today (Dec 8).
He also encouraged residents to utilise his Service Centre at Sungai Merah for assistance. The centre operates weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays from 8 am to noon, closing on Sundays and public holidays.
