SARATOK: Residents of Rumah Japar, Tinting Ringka, Sebatan here are expected to get a new longhouse, with the help of Krian assemblyman Friday Belik.

He said that he would do his best to ensure the aim of getting a new longhouse for the residents is achieved.

“I will strive to help the people in Rumah Japar in the construction of a new longhouse by obtaining a housing loan from Housing Development Corporation (HDC),” he said.

He said this during a ‘Ngiling Bidai’ programme at Rumah Japar here recently.

At the function, Friday announced an allocation of RM6,000 to Rumah Japar Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) and another RM4,000 to its Women Bureau.

At a similar occasion held at Rumah Jembu, Rantau Sukat, Friday also expressed his commitment in helping the people in the constituency.

“Realising that there are still many problems of the people that need to be resolved in Krian such as the water issue, I have brought up all these issues at the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting recently,” he said.

Apart from that, he said development plans in Krian were also presented at the assembly to enable Krian to move towards what has been planned.

Friday also allocated RM10,000 to the Rumah Jembu JKKK and RM5000 to its Women Bureau.

In addition, Gindam Tait, a businessman who accompanied Friday during the visit, donated a total of RM1,500 for the purchase of fire extinguishers for the longhouses.
