KUCHING: More than 200 students partook in the ‘CEO Masuk Kampus’ monthly programme held by Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) on Thursday.

This programme is held once a month as an effort to encourage the students in their studies.

Organised by UiTM Sarawak Branch Student Affair the monthly programme would invite a prominent figure from any agency, department and company to share his or her knowledge and experience with the UiTM students.

This is in line with the Malaysia Education Development Plan which is to create well rounded and highly demanded students in the market.

For this month programme Muara Tuang Assemblyman Dato Idris Buang shared his experience and hardship that he endured in the past as a lesson and guidance for the students.

The event was held at Auditorium B, UiTM Kampus Samarahan 2, with participation by the aforesaid number of students from various UiTM Sarawak branch faculties.

Idris also gave a contribution of RM20,000 to the needy clubs in UiTM here.

Also present was UiTM Deputy Rector (Student Affairs) Associate Prof. Wan Akil Tuanku Abdullah.
