SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii expressed his gratitude to the people in his constituency for the support they have given him since three years ago.
He said that he had visited every shophouse in the Repok constituency before last state election in 2016 and that during these visits, requests for the construction of a road from Sarikei to Tanjung Manis has been frequently brought up.
“I am grateful to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg for approving several big projects in our constituency.
“These projects include the Sarikei-Tanjung Manis Road, Agro-Park, Processing and Packaging Centre (CPPC) and many others,” he said.
He said this during a dinner held in conjunction with the Mooncake Festival in Sarikei recently.
He also said he would strive harder to improve basic facilities and infrastructure of schools and roads in both urban and rural areas.
Therefore, he called on the people to come to Repok Service Centre if they need assistance.
