SRI AMAN: Batang Lupar and Sri Aman Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) have lodged a police report against a Facebook (FB) account owner.
The owner allegedly posted several photos insulting the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the page Sabah-Sarawak Merdeka.
Batang Lupar PKR deputy head Safudin Lebey said they strongly condemned the actions of anyone going against the king.
Meanwhile, Batang Lupar PKR secretary Baharudin Abdul Karim said he was aware of the alleged post when he was going through Facebook yesterday.
“The images and statements uploaded by the Facebook account owner are unacceptable. Such acts should not be done against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong by social media users or Malaysians,” he said.
“As a citizen, we need to respect the king and such insulting words should not be used.
“We ask the authorities to investigate and take immediate action against the individual,” he added.
