KUCHING: Consumers are urged to promptly report any instances of non-compliance with the 2023 Festive Season Maximum Price Scheme (SHMMP) for the Kaamatan and Gawai Festivals to the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry.
Traders are obligated to prominently display pink price tags on controlled-price items, ensure an adequate supply of goods, and employ duly certified weighing and measuring instruments.
The Maximum Price Scheme will be enforced for the Kaamatan Festival from May 27 to June 2 and for the Gawai Festival on May 29 to June 4.
