BINTULU: The Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) and Bintulu Port’s Islamic Welfare Committee held a Ramadan breaking of fast event with the local community here on Saturday (April 1).
According to a press release, the programme included a religious lecture titled ‘Fasting brings forth the quality of honesty’ and corporate to the children of PERYATIM Bintulu.
The group chief executive officer of BPHB, Ruslan Abdul Ghani, stressed that such programmes are a tradition that the company would continue to uphold.
He added that by doing so is a means of connecting with the local community and strengthening the relationship between the company and the local community.
The event took place at the Assyakirin Mosque and was attended by 200 people.
