BINTULU: Twenty-four residents in Sungai Plan Flat (Block B) received food assistance on Friday (Mar 26).
The residents within this area are currently under quarantine for two weeks starting from March 24 after they were identified as closed contacts to Covid-19 patients recently.
Bintulu Welfare Division in collaboration with Samalaju Service Centre handed over the food assistance.
Also present were Samalaju Service Centre representative Thomas Nyaring and Bintulu Welfare Officer Sebai Sumbang.
Residents from the seven-door Rumah Nyanau at Sungai Sap Tatau also received food assistance presented by the Bintulu Welfare Department.
A total of 22 food packs were presented to the villagers on Friday.
Residents of this longhouse have been put under active case detection (ACD) for two weeks starting from March 25.
