Travelling has been quite popular in recent years, with people visiting tropical destinations for both work and leisure. A recent vacation-themed fashion show, “REHAT”, has brought together six resortwear brands from Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, providing guests with an alluring blend of style and escapism.

The latest resort outfits we saw at a recent fashion show seemed highly appropriate for people who are looking for stylish ensembles for their travels to regions with warm weather.

The “REHAT” is a vacation-themed fashion show that marks CollabStore’s maiden foray into this innovative concept.

It brought together six exquisite resort-wear brands from the vibrant fashion landscapes of Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, offering shoppers an enticing fusion of style and escapism.

Why “REHAT”? The global aftermath of the pandemic has given birth to a newfound appreciation for travel, workcations, and relaxation.

Today, the travel season knows no boundaries, with people seeking refuge in tropical resorts for both work and leisure.

Even homes are being transformed to recreate the tranquil ambience of a resort.

“It is therefore timely for me to launch ‘REHAT’ and elevate the customer shopping experience by offering a complete sensory immersion into the world of resort-style fashion,” said Richard Tsen, the visionary fashion entrepreneur and founder of CollabStore.

“REHAT” did transport guests into a fashionable getaway experience that evokes the spirit of a tropical holiday destination, complete with music to relieve the stress of city life.

We were whisked away to a tropical retreat surrounded by lush greenery and swaying palm trees.

The models created an atmosphere as if they were on a vacation by holding a mocktail and feeling calm and relaxed.

Some models even paused to apply lotion on their hands, enticing guests to check out the store’s skin care section.

Mixsoon is a minimalist Korean beauty brand that uses only natural ingredients and is free of animal testing and animal ingredients. Vegan!

The inaugural “REHAT” fashion showcase featured a curated selection of beachwear, unconventional beach dresses, vacation-worthy tops and bottoms from renowned brands such as Angelique, Bill Keith, Bleu Natar, Binary Style, Black by Blue Brave, Everyday, Omok.co, Projet1826, and Sangon.

A watch is a fashion piece that never goes out of style. Black by Blue Brave is an innovative watch brand from Singapore. The designs are both interesting and affordable.

This fashion show also featured accessories from the East Malaysian states (Borneo).

From Borneo are the jewelleries from Sangon, which means “beautiful” in Bidayuh.

Another Borneo jewellery maker is Omok.co, a Kuching-based business that focuses on handmade polymer clay jewelleries.

Project1826 is a men’s footwear label founded by two friends from Sabah.

Yup, we did stare at a pair, especially on the male model!

He is the only male model in the show, and his dreamy eyes and facial expression drew the attention of the younger audience.

When he appeared, the female media was all smiles and snapped pictures.

He stole the spotlight wearing white shirts, and especially the amazing outfits by Bleu Natar, a batik label catered to men.

Angelique, a Penang-based bohemian label, caters to women who prefer slow fashion.

Her colours are very cheerful, and her dresses are really eye-catching.

Everyday, an Indonesian label that makes its debut in this store, has styles that are practical with pleasant hues of the nature.
