KUCHING: The Raintree Restaurant at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) offers a special meal in conjunction with Mother’s Day.
Its chef Eric Lim and the team have come up with a whole buffet spread for the whole family to enjoy.
“This delicious spread will include the finest and freshest ingredients, from delectable appetisers to mouth-watering main courses, and of course, decadent desserts.
“The buffet dinner line provides a unique opportunity for mothers and everyone to choose from a wide selection of dishes and indulge in their favourite flavours,” it said in a press release.
Some of the dishes include pomodoro mozzarella salad with cilantro pesto and terung asam sambal anchovies corn chips canape alongside fried pepperoni rice with salted radish and yam, asam pedas braised beef from its main courses, followed by creamy seafood chowder soup with assorted bread rolls.
“Diners also get to savour our homemade laksa Johor and pan fried gyoza if you fancy Asian cuisine,” it added.
Bookings can be placed online at www.bcck.org.my and available from May 5 with a price of RM88 nett per adult and RM48 nett per child aged 5-12.
For walk-in, the buffet is priced at RM98 nett per adult and RM48 nett per child aged 5-12. To sweeten the celebration, all mothers will be given a special gift specially prepared by The Raintree Restaurant.
This year, Raintree have also come up with two days of buffet spread to help customers plan their Mother’s Day celebration.
The buffet dinner that will be on the May 13 from 6.30 pm to 10 pm, whereas the buffet brunch will be available on the May 14, from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm.
