MIRI: The Ministry of Health (MOH) will take notice of the facilities that need to be improved at Marudi Hospital, said Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang.

According to a news report from the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS), the Deputy Health Minister II, during his recent working visit to the hospital, said this effort was crucial in providing effective health services to the general public.

Aaron, who is also the Kanowit MP, went on to say that he will work with Baram MP Anyi Ngau to address issues raised by Marudi Hospital, such as facilities of existing clinics in the Baram area.

Apart from that, he also paid a working visit to the Long Lama Health Clinic earlier this week to assess the physical state of the clinic building, which was extensively destroyed by landslides two years ago.

He also mentioned that the Public Works Department (JKR) will build a retaining wall on the slope (of the Long Lama Health Clinic) in the near future to prevent additional soil movement.
