JULAU: Sarawak Assistant Native Customary Rights and Land Development Minister Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn has lauded the vaccination process at the Rh Naing mobile vaccination centre (PPV) in Sungai Lijan.
The Meluan assemblyman also urged more members of the community to support the Covid-19 vaccination efforts undertaken by the Sarawak government.
“For those yet to register, please do so promptly to receive the vaccine. It’s provided by the government for free,” he said during a visit to the PPV on Wednesday (July 7).
He was briefed by the head of the Julau District Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force, Muhammad Muqaddim, on the progress.
Vaccination took place for a day, involving personnel from the Ministry of Health, Julau Health Clinic, Julau District Office, People’s Volunteer Corp, Malaysian Civil Defence Force and Julau Information Department.
“The mobile PPV targeted longhouse residents of Rh Naing, Rh Chali, Rh Changan, Rh Tangkum, Rh Unan and Rh Nanduk.
“It involved the administering of the first dose of Sinovac vaccine while the second dose is scheduled on July 28 at the same PPV,” said Julau JaPen.
