LIMBANG: A local man sustained minor facial injuries after his motorcycle skidded and crashed in Kampung Pahlawan here on Saturday.
The accident occurred around 10 pm when the 37-year-old rider was on his way back to his house.
Civil Defence Force (APM) officer Lt Mirwan Shah Masri said that a four-member team was dispatched to the scene, approximately 11 km away, upon receiving an emergency call.
Upon arrival, the team administered first aid to treat the victim’s injuries.
Subsequently, the rider was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
It is believed that the man was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
