SERIAN: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate for Serian Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem arrived at 8am at the SK St. Dominic Pichin polling station to cast his vote today (Nov 19).
He was accompanied by his wife, Mincha Kayeng Lengeng, to fulfil their responsibilities as Malaysian citizens.
After casting his vote, Riot who is the deputy president of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP), hoped the voters will choose a candidate who will serve them effectively.
Meanwhile, Democratic Action Party (DAP) candidate Learry Jabul cast his ballot at the SK Kerait polling station and Independent Alim Impira arrived at around 7.30am to cast his vote at the Kampung Kujang Mawang community hall.
Serian is involved in a four-cornered fight with Elsiy Tinggang of Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB), also in the fray.
