SEBUYAU: Twenty-two associations and committees from the Sebuyau constituency have received Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants amounting to RM118,500.
Batang Lupar MP Mohamad Shafizan Kepli handed over the grants to the recipients at the Sebuyau District Office during a simple ceremony recently.
The recipients included a committee from the Sebangan Zone Headmasters Council, the Sebuyau Headmasters Council, 19 Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs), and the Arus Lumut Sebangan Village Safety and Development Committee (JKKK).
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mohamad Shafizan said the grants would be used to carry out activities including programmes at the school and village levels.
