KUCHING: Prizes worth RM15,250 await the top entries in the SUKMA XXI Sarawak 2024 photography and video contest, which runs from August 12 to 24.
According to a post by SUKMA Sarawak 2024 on their Facebook page, the contest will feature three categories: Open, Youth, and Video.
The cash prizes for the Open category are RM3,000 for first place, RM2,000 for second place, RM1,000 for third place, and five consolation prizes of RM200 each.
For the Youth and Video categories, the first prize is RM2,000, second prize is RM1,000, third prize is RM750, and there are five consolation prizes of RM100 each.
“This competition is open to all Malaysians and is free of charge. The deadline for submission of entries is 31 August at 11.59 pm,” it said.
Participants are encouraged to capture photos or videos that depict the atmosphere of SUKMA 2024, including athletes’ actions, emotions, determination, resilience, and effort during the event.
“For more information, interested individuals can scan the QR code provided in the poster,” they added.
