RM200k grant for St James Church’s new building

BAU: The Sarawak government, through the Unit for Other Religions (Unifor), gave a grant of RM200,000 to St James Catholic Church, Bitikie here.

According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) report, Deputy Minister for Transport, Datuk Henry Harry Jinep handed over the cheque to the chairman of St James Bitikie, Prof Andrew Alek Tuen, recently.

The money would be used to fund the ongoing construction of the new church building.
