TEBEDU: A total of RM3.7 million has been allocated under the Sarawak Dilapidated Schools Redevelopment Programme to construct a new building for Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Pelaman Sidunuk.
The Public Works Department (PWD) Serian Division chief engineer Ts Chiresly Francis Kureng, said that the project was expected to take one year.
“This is provided there are no obstacles or constraints during the construction work,” he explained during a meeting on the proposed pilot project for the Sarawak Dilapidated Schools Redevelopment Programme at SK Pelaman Sidunuk recently.
The implementing and monitoring of the project will be handed over to the PWD Serian Division, assisted by the Sarawak State Federal Development Office (SDO).
Also present were representatives from the Serian District Education Office Farid Farhan Jainudin, project manager Wong Tiong Wee, Tebedu District Officer representative Teddy Tala, and other stakeholders.
