KUCHING: Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar handed project grants amounting to RM41.21 million as well as project development approval letters for Pantai Damai and Demak Laut constituencies.
The presentation was held in Pullman Hotel on Sunday night during the breaking of fast with community leaders and the media.
The grants were received by respective assemblymen Dr Haji Abdul Rahman Junaidi and Dr Hazland Abang Hipni.
“There are 47 development projects in Demak Laut which cost RM23.66 million and 31 development projects in Pantai Damai that cost RM17.55 million,” said Junaidi.
Meanwhile, regarding with the Matriculation Project for Sarawak state, Junaidi said that it was already approved by the federal government and a discussion had been made with the Ministry of Education.
