SERIAN: The state government has allocated RM500,000 for rural transformation projects (RTPs) to three villages namely Kampung Begu, Kampung Mundai and Kampung Panchor Dayak.

Tarat assemblyman Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn yesterday witnessed the handing over of RTP documents at the respective villages.

Of the amount, RM200,000 was allocated to widen, add rocks and redevelop the road (Phase 1) in Kampung Begu, while RM100,000 will be used to upgrade the roads in Kampung Mundai, and RM300,000 for repair works for a field in Kampung Panchor.

The first ceremony was done in Kampung Begu where Sagah witnessed the handing over of the project document between village head Nicholas Gugut Sagum and the appointed contractor Sanking represented by Frazier Lod.

In Kampung Mundai, the ceremony involved its head Sapin Kirim and appointed contractor Alam Bina Sdn Bhd represented by Alam Buana while the ceremony in Kampung Panchor involved village head Tapok Rayun and the contractor Samara Setia Co.
