OYA: An education assistance totalling RM5,200 has been given out to 26 persons here.
Of the total, RM3,400 were early education aid for 22 deserving families in Zone 1, while RM1,800 was the from Dalat Foundation Aid Scheme for four students.
Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Dalat branch deputy chairman Sait Seman handed over the aid to the recipients at a simple ceremony at Dalat constituency Service Centre here today (March 12).
He was representing Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, who is also Dalat assemblywoman and PBB Dalat branch chairperson.
Local community leaders and other PBB committee members also attended the event.
