MIRI: Members of the public, particularly road users of KM28 from Miri city centre (at Lambir) Pan Borneo Highway project, are advised to use alternative road due temporarily road closure.
The Public Works Department (JKR) in a statement today said the temporarily road closure is to allow cleaning works of the road due to oil spillage involving a lorry carrying palm oil cargo.
“Road users can use the jalan Pesisir (coastal road) as alternative to go in and out of Miri city centre,’’ JKR said.
It will announce the opening of the road once the cleaning works are completed.
