KUCHING: The Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) has announced a road closure plan in preparation for the DBKU Criterium Race 2.0 event, which will take place on May 28 (Sunday).
To ensure the safety and smooth flow of the race, several roads will be closed temporarily from 6 am to 2.30 pm on the event day.
According to the press release issued yesterday, the roads affected during the event are Tun Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul Rahman Yakub Roundabout, Astana Road leading to MASJA, Datuk Menteri Abg Hj. Mohd Zen bin Hj. Salleh Roundabout, small roundabout leading to Masjid Jamek, traffic lights near Datuk Menteri Abg Hj. Mohd Zen bin Hj. Salleh Roundabout and the back road of Tunku RPR Phase 2 Village
“Road users are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, taking into account the temporary road closures.
“Please pay attention to traffic control signs and follow the instructions provided by DBKU and the Royal Malaysia Police authorities who will be present to assist during the event.”
