BELADIN: Road maintenance work along the Triso-Beladin-Tanjung Lilin line, which was delayed due to the movement control order (MCO), has resumed today.

In this regard, Beting Maro assemblyman Razaili Gapor commended the proactive action of the Public Works Department (JKR) for speeding up the maintenance work for the safety of road users.

At the same time, he hoped that the road upgrading work under the coastal road upgrading project could be expedited as soon as possible.

Earlier, JKR in response to the road maintenance work informed that their contractor had just received approval from the International Trade and Industry Ministry to commence with the maintenance works.

In the same response, JKR said that their contractor reported having experienced some difficulties in obtaining some materials.

However, the department assured that they will monitor the progress and the maintenance work from time to time.
