MIRI: Several roads in the city centre will be closed for four hours, starting from 6 am this Saturday to make way for the Miri Car Free Day.
The affected roads are Jalan Angsana, Jalan Chia Tze Chin and Jalan Kingsway.
Miri City Council (MCC), in a statement yesterday, reminded motorists to plan ahead owing to the half-road closure and prepare for road options to reach their destinations.
Apart from stationing traffic wardens, appropriate traffic diversion road signs will be put up at the site to facilitate the car owners on making road diversion.
