KUCHING: A roadshow for Merdeka Auto Carnival (MAC) 2017 scheduled for September will be held at Crown Square parking lot here tomorrow starting at 9.00 am.
According to Sarawak Auto-Enthusiast (SAS) president Wan Asraq Arif, the event ‘Kone Attack Gymkhana’ and Drift Demo will be the main attraction to the public to promote the MAC 2017.
“Highlights of the roadshow include a Kone Attack Gymkhana competition, which is a test of advanced driving skills, organised by SAS since 2012, and currently seeing much increased participations,” said Wan Asraq during the press conference held at Tempayan Lounge, Crown Square, yesterday.
He added there will also be a Drift demonstration by local drifters, a sports that is quickly rising in popularity.
Wan Asraq also noted that there are various other programmes organised during the roadshow for the public preview as to what the main event will be.
He also pointed that early bird registration for the MAC 2017 will get discount upon their booking.
Also present were Crown Square representative Tay Kien Hong, MAC 2017 Roadshow organising chairman Galvin Amat and other committee members.
